L'identità distribuita degli antichi dèi
Maurizio Bettini
Abstract:
Did the ancient gods possess what we call an "identity"? If they did, it has to be represented not as a unique, consistent and essentialized one, but as a network of distributed configurations. Time after time, gods reveal simultaneously onomastic, linguistic, narrative, visual, cultic, topographic (and other kinds of) identities - always according to the different fields of cultural experience shared by a given community.
