L'antropologo 'classico' "entre bêtes et dieux". Considerazioni oziose e aperitive di un socio fondatore

Ezio Pellizer

Abstract:

In this paper, the author examines a series of topics of likely anthropological importance that have continued to present interest to the study of the ancient world and the understanding of contemporary European culture, both before and after the foundation of the "Centro Antropologia e Mondo Antico". Furthermore, it illustrates the potential of certain perspectives of the semiotic approach for analyzing forms of imaginary (fictional) discourse and the effectiveness of these forms of discourse as strategies for producing consensus through the manipulation of mythic and religious 'texts'.
